Shannon Ferguson

 

    Veteran NYC musician and producer, Shannon Ferguson, has created original music for a variety of

projects, spanning major record label releases to national advertising campaigns, feature films, web serials and

episodic television.

   

    With critically-lauded rock act, Longwave, (for which Ferguson played guitar and penned songs),

Ferguson's work has appeared on soundtracks for I Now Pronounce You Chuck and Larry, Veronica Mars, 90210,

True Calling and True Life among others. Recent advertising work includes sound-beds for such brands as

Pillsbury, Lubriderm, and Bath and Body Works. Ferguson also provided longer form scores for Partnership for a

Drug Free America and the FMRL, the Future Media Research Lab.

   

    As a musician, Ferguson has toured extensively with bands including The National, Bloc Party, The

Strokes, OK GO, The Donnas, The Raveonettes, and The Vines among dozens of others. He remains active in

this community recording and producing emerging acts in his Spring Street studio. Ferguson has been featured in

Guitar Player Magazine, Guitar World and Sonic Scoop.com.
